Awakened Sacrificed is a hybrid music video of Gothic Rock and Celtic Choir, that was inspired by 1999 To whatever ends ( the house of Usher) and 2014 Mo Ghille Mear ( Choral Scholar of University), combining their music genre in order to create this emotion music video that can sooth away the pain of being outcasted and have no one to turn too and you can't be mad at them, but still feel the pain. Specifically people who choose to have a different lifestyle that have chosen to dress different from those who are seen to be stereotypically normal (Goths, Fans of fiction and Coz-players).This message will be expressed through the use of common storytelling (an outcast being bullied but stands up for himself through the inner passion within, by channeling what makes him different from others) that can be an inspiration for passion and self-love. This relatable story is told in a supernatural theme, with medieval fantasy visuals and dramatic expression.
Gothic Rock
A sub-genre of alternative rock that emerged from the post-punk scene in the late 1970's, creating a dark persona through it's use of an atmosphere, lyrics, audio and performance that can be seen as eerie, dramatic or supernatural, or all the above (using elements of punk, glam rock, and hard rock). This sub-genre has inspired many members of Generation Z sharing their state of anxieties that have been caused by the state of the real world (social isolation, pressure on social media and political polarisation), expressing themes of darkness and rebellious nature.
